Internships.
Sundail Students.

The foundation facilitates internship possibilities in all departments because young students bring new ideas to the foundation and it encourages them to pursue their career in health care and hopefully in the foundation. Students are accepted on HBO and MBO level preferably when in their final year, LBO Students from the Sundail School are accepted when in their 3rd and/or 4th year.
St. Martin's Home can facilitate a maximum of:
2 HBO or 2 MBO students at a time.
From the Sundial school 2 in their 3rd year and 4 in the 4th year.

The District Nursing:
1 HBO or 1 MBO students at a time for District Nursing and 1 HBO or 1 MBO students at a time for the Baby clinics.
From the Sundial school 2 in their 3rd year and 2 in the 4th year.

Sister Basilia Center for Disabled:
2 HBO or 2 MBO students at a time.
From the Sundial school 2 in their 3rd year and 2 in the 4th year.

Students from Holland must prepare themselves for a new environment and culture, they must be able to live independently and have a budget available for housing and transport.

HBO and MBO students from Curacao are usually from St. Maarten and like to do their training close to home.

LBO Students are from the Sundail School in St. Maarten.

Vacancies.
The vacancy policy is that the staff of the foundation gets priority to apply for new vacancies. Then Antillean residents and Dutch nationals have first preference. For all vacancies there is a function profile and a committee of the department manager and one or two future colleagues who decides on the best candidate for the function. Future candidates are also asked to work on the team at least one day before actually being hired. Salaries are in accordance with the CLA of the foundation.
